Lapeer High School vs H.H. Dow High School
21 9

It wasn’t their best night, as many of the girls struggled with the lanes against Midland Dow on their home alleys, but they came through when they needed to and left with their 9th win of the season. The girls started out well taking a 10-0 after the Baker games, but had trouble finding a consistent line to play after that. With the Dow ladies throwing some of their best games of the season at home, the Lightning had to find away to get pins any way they could. Cynthia Slater led the way by throwing a 207. Stephanie Slater added a 189, and Bailey Orsette a 177. Sarah Lyerla and Krystal Gates added some important marks during the match and Jillian Roush threw a big strike in the final frame of the match to help seal the victory. The girls will face Mt. Pleasant Saturday at Candelite Bowl in Bridgeport.
